USB Robot Flash Drive

This USB 2.0 flash drive comes with a 4 gigabyte large storage capacity and a design that may bring the thoughts to a certain golden shiny protocol droid from the Star Wars saga.

The Ultimate Computer of the Future

Remember Tom Cruise to deal with skill the computers in Minority Report; Vertical, transparent surfaces, projections into the air and, instead of point-his own hand as a control. Everyone oneirefthikame this future, we all hoped that we will still be alive when they come.

The designer Jakub Záhor did something more. Create a concept computer that crashes on any glass surface and converts automatically to display. The glass surface is either a coffee table, or a mirror is an interactive hologram. The user can click on it with his fingers and the handle, write to the virtual keyboard to show the pictures or powerpoint, to view the video ... I hope to find a way to pass the idea Zahor and production.

The Future of Relaxing

Computers and technology are such a huge part of our lives and even though it’s getting harder for our generation to remember our lives before computers, it did exist. As for our children, I cant say the same. Cell Phones and computer have began to be a part of their infantile lives. With the new concepts and designs of home furniture and hi-tech workstations, technology takes another step into the depth of our lives, making computers and tv’s a part of how we relax. Check out the compilation of images of new furniture I collected…

The sexy-looking Maya Single Chair is specially designed to relieve your body and mind when you have a hangover. Crammed with a geeky style, the reclining Maya chair combined with 26 or 32inch screen, a pair of powerful 60W speakers and a sub, offer you the best possible lounging relaxation and get you back to normal.

This upholstered sofa called the “Athena,” features an integrated computer. You can use all functions like the home computer and can connect it with the multi-room systems to take care of media applications from email to watching TV from the comfort of a chair.

Multifunctional chaise-Longue called Wave Chaise from the Brazilian designer Roberta Ramme. The designer designed this concept especially for tech-savvy teenagers.

Freud would call this ‘returning to the womb’, but inside the Oculas Ovei pod, you can play PlayStation 3, watch a movie in hi-def, surf the interweb or chill out to music in surround sound, so it’s actually much better than the real thing. When Ovei’s British designer, Lee McCormac, came up with the idea way back in 2002, he rushed to register the name iPod, only to discover that some Californian company had already nabbed it.

Tablet Window Internet Searching in the Future

This tablet is a glimpse into the near future of internet searching. Instead of searching for words, the concept uses an augmented reality interface. The allows the user to carry around a portable "window", point it at an object and receive immediate information. No searching for words- just point and enjoy the information. The device is portable so searches can be made instantly anywhere, anytime.

The Window includes a touch screen interface, Google Earth, Google Maps, a scanner, a camera and Google Search. You can potentially find information about anything and everything. For example point it at a food and receive immediate information about nutrients, taste, and freshness. Or point it at a building and find its age, height, residents and other useful information. By bringing augmented searches on the road, everyone would have access to immediate, infinite information.

When this tablet is released, the internet would no longer be merged to your computer. Instead it would be integrated to reality- a hybrid of a digital world and reality. Expected to be made in about 20-30 years, this concept is a dream gadget for many of us.

Awesome Flashlight

In any darkness light is needed! Especially if you love hiking, where there is no civilization. This device is indispensable to you will be very necessary in the forest or field. The Luminous flashlight acts a both a regular front-light for directional illumination or a global-light for illuminating an entire area. A perfectly simple yet practical design with uses that extend well beyond camping.

How future Computers will look like is difficult to predict

Universities around the United States has been able to apply for some prestigious grant for research that will lead to technology that will replace today’s transistors. The goal is thus not improving the current technology without finding entirely new building blocks for future computers.

Total allocated about 132 million out of twelve different research programs in nanotechnology.

Two of the funds have gone to the University of Notre Dame in Indiana, where researchers will try to create a computer that is similar to our brain with millions of cores and an advanced network. Another research team will develop a solution called Quantum-Dot Cellular Automata, where transistors are replaced by molecules of extremely low power consumption.

The money comes partly from the National Science Foundation, and from NRI-Src association that represents the chip manufacturers IBM, Intel, Texas Instruments, Globalfountries and Micron Technology.

Concept InOne All-In-One Computer

Design to be a true All-in-one computer the InOne concept has been designed by Jakub Záhor . The InOne system incorporates a 22? screen, keyboard, touchpad, speakers and a digital tablet all in one elegant casing with detailing that looks as if it was inspired by Tron.

With a touch tablet positioned just above the front keyboard the system would make it easy for designers or artists to to create work using a stylus or similar. Unfortunately the InOne is just a concept at the moment so there aren’t specification as such but the overall design looks very original. The speakers are located in the circles behind the screen together with the mechanics which look to be housed in the cylinder between the speakers and its also equipped with wireless connectivity.
